America Recycles DAY

November 15 is America Recycles Day, the culmination of hundreds of activities and events around the nation created to draw attention to the importance of recycling and buying recycled products.  This annual day of commitment to recycling is organized by America Recycles Day, Inc. And its partners in a public-private, non-profit group whose only goal is to see recycling realize its maximum potential in America.  The State of Michigan, through the Michigan Recycling Coalition, has partnered with America Recycles Day, Inc. In its 10th annual campaign to encourage Americans to recycle and buy-recycled products.  As part of the campaign, people throughout Michigan will participate in various activities and events leading up to America Recycles Day.

Make A Commitment to Recycle- We All Win

Each year Mid Michigan Waste Authority celebrates America Recycles Day with a number of activities.  Many of the 35 member communities recognize the importance of recycling and purchasing recycled content products by passing resolutions and proclamations.  Residents make a promise to recycle by making a commitment on a pledge card.  Everyone who makes a commitment is entered to win great prizes from Mid Michigan Waste Authority.

Whether you win a prize our not, when you recycle we all win.
