Non-official recycling containers may also be used as additional capacity but must be 33 gallons or less and must be labeled with a “Recyclables Only” sticker. Acrobat Reader required for viewing. Step #1: Place all paper and paper goods in a recycling bin or a paper bag set inside the bin. Empty, flatten and cut down cardboard boxes into pieces no larger than 2 foot by 3 foot and place in or under recycling bin. Step #2: Place all glass, metal and #1 and #2 plastic containers together in one recycling bin. Remember to empty and rinse all containers before recycling. Removing labels is not necessary. Throw plastic lids in the trash. Recycle metal lids. Flatten containers when possible.Step 1 Acceptable Paper Items:
