Inclement Weather Update
Inclement Weather Update
Due to anticipated inclement weather MMWA would like to remind our residents that safety is always MMWA’s and WM’s top priority. While the weather forecast calls for high winds and large snow accumulation WM trucks plan attempting service on Friday, December 23rd. If WM trucks encounter areas that are not safe to travel, they will be unable to collect your materials until your next service day.
A few friendly reminders:
- In extremely inclement weather, consider holding your trash or recyclables until the next week if you can.
- Avoid using white bags in snowy weather. If your driver can’t see your trash, he can’t collect it.
- Do not place bags, bins, or cans in icy areas or on top of or behind snow mounds.
For inclement weather updates and cancellations visit MMWA’s website, Facebook, and www.abc12.com/closings and www.midmichigannow.com/closings .
