The upcoming Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays will impact solid waste collection services provided to some of Mid Michigan Waste Authority (MMWA)’s member communities. There will be no trash or recycling collection provided on Tuesday, December 25 or Tuesday, January 1.
Collection services will be delayed one day for communities with Tuesday through Friday service days during both holiday weeks. Residents should prepare and set out materials one day later than they normally do during the holiday weeks. Residents with a Monday service day will not be impacted by the holidays and should put their materials out on their regular collection day.
MMWA communities should set their materials out on the following days during the Christmas and New Year’s Day holiday weeks:
