To ensure the safety of trick-or-treaters and area drivers on Halloween, Mid Michigan Waste Authority refuse collection services will begin an hour earlier on Wednesday, October 31.
Waste Management garbage, yard waste, and recycling trucks will hit the streets to start collecting solid waste materials at 6 am on Halloween instead of the normal 7 am start time. To assist with getting refuse collection services completed before trick or treat activities begin, residents in communities serviced on Halloween should place their materials at the curb by 6 am.
The affected communities include Bridgeport Twp, Chapin Twp, Frankenmuth City, Frankenmuth Twp, City of Saginaw (residents with a Wednesday service day only), Spaulding Twp, and Tittabawassee Twp.
